Stepan is a chemicals company, producing a wide array of chemicals for industries from farming to oil fields. I worked as a support developer on the Stepan site as a consultant under Avionos (now Hero Digital)
Stepan's site was built in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) version 5.6, not the latest version. This posed some interesting challenges, as solutions that worked on other clients didn't necessarily work with Stepan. I was primarily a support developer, delivering bug fixes and patches to the live site. One notable series of patches were a series of CSS and design fixes I delivered just after a major site redesign. Some examples of fixes include adding missed design elements, fixing image scaling, and adding missing functionality to the site header.
